Top Tips to Protect Your Spine and Avoid Pain

How do you prevent spinal strain? In your spine, you have a lot of different muscles along the spine, and chances are sometime in your life, you're probably going to strain it, which means you're going to injure the muscles along your spine. So how do you prevent that from happening?

Number one, you have to make sure you are warming up first thing in the morning.

Going back and forth, stretching, moving, making sure your ligaments and muscles are nice and loose. That's going to prevent further strain.

Number two, you have to strengthen.

Once your muscles are nice and flexible, you have to strengthen your muscles. You've got to pull down, pull up, use weights, create imbalance exercises, stand on a BOSU ball on one side so that your spine is able to fire those little muscles along the way.

And number three, make sure you hydrate because not hydrating is detrimental for all of your muscles.

I've sometimes gone a day without proper hydration and I'm going to feel it or pay for it the next day. So follow these three tips and that's how you get your spine from straining out.
